To win a great prize!
Celebrate National Poetry Month by participating in our Teen Haiku Contest! A haiku is a Japanese style of poetry that traditionally consists of three lines. The first line has five syllables, seven in the second and five in the third. Create your own 17-syllable poem on any topic, and submit your finished work below by Sunday, April 24.
Our staff will vote for our favorite poem and announce the winner on Instagram on Wednesday, April 27. The winner will receive a $15 Target gift card. This contest is for teens in grades 6–12.
