The adults are voting at the library, and this week, the kids can too! Stop by the Children’s Services Desk to cast your vote! results will be posted on our bulletin board at the end of the week.

Monday, April 3

Bolingbrook Police Department Storytime
10:30–11:30 a.m.
At this special storytime, a Bolingbrook police officer will join us to talk about what they do for our community. Afterward, join us in the parking lot for an exclusive tour of a police car! Drop in.

Miss Laura in the Library
1:30–2 p.m.
Ms. Laura from Outreach Services brings library services and storytimes to our whole community. Join us as she makes a special stop to read to us in our Storytime Room inside the library! Drop in.

Make Your Own Stationery
3 p.m.
Grades 3–5
Postal workers bring us packages, invitations and letters! Make plain paper unique using Kool-Aid, nail polish and bubbles, and then send someone a letter on your new personalized stationery. Register now.

Tuesday, April 4

Healthy Habits, Happy Kids
Nurses and doctors in our community work to keep us healthy and happy! Complete a special scavenger hunt in Children’s Services to learn tips on how to take care of yourself. Drop in.

Arts and Fables with Mrs. C
1:30–2:30 p.m.
Mrs. C from Outreach Services visits elementary schools almost every day to share cool books and fun library programs. Visit Children’s Services to join her for a special storytime and craft. Drop in.

LEGO Masters: Building Bolingbrook
2 p.m.
Grades K–5
Construction workers are always building new places or fixing up old buildings for us to live, work and play in. In this special LEGO® Masters, create a building to place in our own LEGO® version of Bolingbrook. Register now.

Discovering Art: A Sunday Afternoon at Fountaindale
2 p.m.
Grades K–5
Did you know all the art pieces in the library were done by professional artists? See these pieces for yourself before creating your own art in the style of Georges Seurat’s A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte pointillism painting. Register now.

Things that Go
1:30 p.m.
Ages 2–6 with an adult
Bus drivers, railway workers and truck drivers help get us (and our stuff) where we need to go. Explore all kinds of vehicles in a loose-parts play program with hands-on learning, creativity and working together. Register now.
