Card Making with East Asian Motifs

Educator Yvonne Wolf invites you to expand your card-making experiences to East Asia. First, she will give a brief understanding of the three principles of order in the East Asian world. After applying these principles in Asian architecture, seasons and two positive Chinese characters, you can make four different blank greeting cards and envelopes using templates, scissors and glue. This experience will enrich your future exploration of the East Asian arts. Register now.

Soup, Eggrolls, Stir Fry and Fried Rice: Hidden Messages in Chinese Food

Chinese food is set up in a combination of soup, eggroll, stir fry and rice. Is the eggroll a traditional Chinese food? Is the fortune cookie an American invention?
