Storytime

Join us for a special storytime featuring books and music that celebrate kindness. (All ages, preschoolers with an adult.)
Love on a Leash
11 a.m.–12 p.m.
Meet service dogs and learn about their important work in this presentation from Love on a Leash. (All ages, preschoolers with an adult.)
Kindness Day Kit
All Day
Pick up a kit with kindness-themed crafts and gifts from Kindness Day Bolingbrook partners at the Children’s Services Desk, while supplies last.
Special-Edition Super Sammy Library Card
Get a new library card celebrating Kindness Day and Super Sammy! These limited-edition library cards will be available beginning Saturday, May 20, while supplies last. Get yours to show that kindness is your superpower! Please note: new cards are free of charge but will require you to get a new library card number.

Kindness Day Stories
Spreading kindness can have a positive impact on a person’s life and inspire others, especially our youth, to be kind to each other. In 2021 we asked students in our community to share their stories of kindness. We collected their stories and published the first Kindness Day Bolingbrook book and eBook. Find a copy now.
