Amazing Adventures at Annerino
Join us on Wednesdays, June 8–July 20, from 11 a.m. until noon, at Central Park behind Annerino Community Center (201 Recreation Drive). Enjoy a variety of programs, stories and games with our Outreach staff. The Bookmobile will remain onsite until 12:30 p.m. each week so you can check out materials and sign up for Summer Adventure. In case of inclement weather, programs will be moved inside Annerino Community Center’s gym.
Music in the Park
Wednesdays, June 8, 29 & July 13
Explore music through sound, song, instruments, rhythm, movement and more. Listen to music, make music and dance to music using a variety of interactive games and hands-on percussion activities in this high-energy program. Come join us as we become music makers in the park.
Bilingual Storytime
Wednesday, June 15
Enjoy listening to some fun stories in Spanish and English. There will be games, crafts and dancing, so don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes!
Magic of Scott Piner

MOPs Puppet Show

Storytime at the Museum
Tuesdays, June 7, July 5 & August 2, 9:30–10:30 a.m.
Bolingbrook Historical Museum, 444 E. Briarcliff Rd
Ages 2–6 with an adult
Spark your child’s imagination with stories, songs and other fun activities. Storytime is geared towards preschoolers but is great for all ages. After storytime, learn more about our Village as you browse through the exhibits at the Bolingbrook Historical Museum. Don’t forget to check out the jail downstairs! Admission is free. IKEA Storytime
Tuesdays, July 19 & August 16, 10–11 a.m.

Ages 2–6 with an adult
IKEA storytime is back! Join us for preschool stories, puppet plays and songs. Storytimes are free to all, but registration is required. Registration opens two weeks before each program date. Storytime is located on the second floor near the restaurant.
Story Strolls
Our Story Strolls are back in person this summer! Enjoy physical activity, time outdoors in nature, literacy and family time. Pages from the featured picture book will be posted along the outdoor path. As we stroll down the trail in this one-hour program, we will read the story and introduce activities at each station. The Bookmobile will be stationed near the start of the trail so you can sign up and earn points for Summer Adventure! Please note, these events will be moved inside the library in case of inclement weather.
