With Museum Adventure Pass, you can visit many Illinois museums for free or at a discounted rate! Visit the Museum Adventure Pass website for a list of participating museums and details on each cultural destination, and then stop by the 1st Floor Circulation Desk to check out a pass using your Fountaindale Public Library card. Cardholders must be 18 years of age or older and reside in the Fountaindale Public Library District. Passes are first-come, first-served as we have a limited number of passes for each participating organization. Passes cannot be reserved or checked out by phone.
One Museum Adventure Pass may be checked out per household per seven days. The pass will expire seven days after the date printed on the pass. Passes are for one-time use and are not transferable. Your name will be printed on the pass, and you may be asked to show identification at the museum. The museum will collect the pass when you visit.
Admission offers vary per museum. We recommend contacting the museum regarding rules and restrictions prior to going.
Explore More Illinois offers free passes, discounted admission and other incentives from cultural attractions in Illinois, such as museums, cultural centers, zoos, aquariums, gardens, historical societies and more.
Offers must be reserved online from the Explore More Illinois website with your library card before redeeming. You can have two active reservations per library card, and once a reservation is used or expires, you can make another. This service is separate from Museum Adventure Pass, so redeeming an offer from Explore More Illinois won’t stop you from getting a pass from Museum Adventure.
Visit the Explore More Illinois website for a current list of participating attractions and details on each cultural destination. For more information about this program, visit the Explore More Illinois FAQ page.
Offers vary per attraction and from month to month. If admission to the museum is free, another special discount will be offered.
