Studio 300 is our cutting-edge digital media and maker lab located on the lower level of our library. Using our creative spaces and expansive equipment and software collections, you can edit your photos and videos, record your podcasts, start YouTube and TikTok channels and more. All Pinnacle library cardholders have limited access to Studio 300 with their home library card.
For non-resident library cardholders who are reciprocal borrowers, Studio 300 computers and spaces are available for limited use Mondays through Fridays. Circulating resources are available for general checkout during Studio 300 open hours.
Studio 300 reserves the right to prioritize Fountaindale Public Library District cardholders.

All patrons wanting to take full advantage of the equipment and spaces available in Studio 300 need to complete an orientation session. Patrons 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. In-person orientations are available by request.

We’ve fully integrated our desktop fabrication machines into Studio 300. Take advantage of this DIY maker technology by completing Studio 300 Orientation and a separate virtual safety instruction session. You can also get detailed machine instructions from our staff. After that, you may stop by and use the embroidery, vinyl cutting, 3D carving and 3D printing machines anytime Studio 300 is open.
Flex your creative muscles, host a podcast, record music and much more in one of our creative spaces. Our creative spaces must be reserved in advance by contacting Studio 300 at 630.685.4260. Reservations are limited to eight hours per cardholder every 30 days. Please read our Studio 300 Policy before making your reservation.
Studio 300 houses an extensive collection of digital media equipment for use by all library cardholders and access cardholders. Some of our equipment needs to stay here at the library, such as our maker machines, MacBooks, music instruments and turntables. Other items are available for checkout with your library card. Our Mac lab is equipped with an extensive collection of software from industry leaders such as Adobe, Apple and Microsoft. Our aim is to help you create, design and make with confidence. We are happy to help you use our software to accomplish your goals. We offer introductory workshops, small group classes and one-on-one training sessions with our staff.
