Covers fiction and non-fiction for grades pre-K through 8. This helpful database will show you lists of books for different ages, tell you the order of books in a series, and suggest the right name for a book you describe. The lists of "Recommended Reads" suggest good choices for nonfiction topics or fiction genres.

Oaklee's Family Guide

Oaklee's Family Guide was started in 1999 by suburban Chicago moms who wanted to know the activities for kids around town. On the site you can search for places, services and events. The library also receives a quarterly paper magazine that you can pick up in the Children's Department.

OnePlay from Recorded Books is a service for unlimited PC and Android games. Over 1000 games. No holds. No fees. No waiting. Free access to the OnePlay VIP subscription service is provided with your library card. Apps are made available once you create and log into your OnePlay account from the library portal. Once you have the PC App or the Android App (the OnePlay App is not found in the Google Play store), you can "rent" games, and play the games through the App and skip the library portal. Note the word "rent". Since Oneplay has its roots in the retail world, the word "rent" is used. Really you are just "borrowing" like all library materials.
