Summer Adventure is our annual, all-ages summer reading and activities program. Our 2025 Summer Adventure: Level Up at Your Library is just around the corner. You and your family can get in on the fun by exploring the library, community and world at large through reading, creating, play and more. This year’s Adventure runs from Sunday, June 1 through Thursday, July 31.
1. Sign Up
Register yourself and your family at the library, Bookmobile or online starting Sunday, June 1. Summer Adventure is open to Fountaindale cardholders of all ages, and families are encouraged to participate together. Check below for help with registration.

2. Earn Points
Collect points to earn prizes by reading or completing fun activities such as visiting a park, creating something, attending a library program and more!
Summer Adventure Activities:
- Read or listen to a book for 30 minutes
- Read or listen to a new author or genre
- Read or listen to a staff pick
- Visit the Bookmobile
- Attend a library program
- Color, craft or make something
- Explore Studio 300
- Spot the star each week
- Visit a park, museum or community event
- Checkout Challenge: check out five items

3. Get Prizes
When you reach 25 and 50 points, you will earn a prize and an entry into our grand prize drawing. If you hit our stretch goal of 75 points, you can earn an extra grand prize entry.
Point-level prizes will be available from Friday, June 6, until Friday, August 15, while supplies last. You can redeem your prizes at the library or Bookmobile.
To enter the grand prize drawings, log into your Summer Adventure account, select “Grand Prizes” from the left-hand menu and select the drawing you want to enter. Grand prize winners will be drawn on Monday, August 4, so your deadline for entering the drawings is Sunday, August 3. If you need help entering the grand prize drawings, we have a video below that guides you through the process.
